The following Terms and Conditions apply to the use of this Web site as well as all transactions conducted through the site.

By clicking this, you agree to our Terms and Conditions of ordering from our Hatchery.
Shipping agreement: We only send live, healthy chicks out through the mail. But there are occasions where a chick might not make it to you alive. Especially when the post office takes longer than expected to get your package to you. If you live in a far out area, please pay for Express shipping whenever possible. This helps to hold the postal system to guaranteeing your order gets there on a certain day. With Priority, there is no guarantee and chicks can get held up or lost in the mail. When getting chicks shipped to you, you must pick up the chicks immediately upon arrival at the postal office. Make sure to open the box in front of a Postal Employee so they can help verify of any losses. They usually will call you promplty in the morning for you to pick them up. You must call within the first 24 hours with any losses and you will be credited for those losses in the form of a store credit, no cash refunds will be issued. Any replacement shipments, the shipping must be covered by customer. If paying for Express shipping and package is late, this will be covered by the post office. Again, open the box in front of a postal employee. In the very rare event that the whole box of chicks arrive dead you will be required to open the box in front of a postal worker "which you should always do" to confirm they died in shipping, the postal worker will note the account and we can get the paperwork to get the shipment replaced. We will send one replacement shipment with the customer paying for the cost of shipping. This will be a one time replacement only. By choosing Priority mail, you are taking the risk upon yourself if the package gets lost in the mail. Our Hatchery is not responsible for the Postal system loosing packages. As previously stated, we will send out one replacement package, at customers cost for shipping, with postal confirmation of losses.
Ordering of hatching eggs: Due to there being too many factors on hatching eggs, such as getting justled around in shipping, or how one incubates them, we cannot guarantee the hatchability of eggs. This means you are taking your own risk in buying eggs. If you want a certain amount of chicks, then order the chicks. do not buy a dozen eggs expecting to get a dozen chicks.
Order cancellation policy: We will accept a phone cancellation if it's the person that placed the order,and is calling from the phone number provided for shipping. If you cancel before your eggs are set there is a $25 cancellation fee. If eggs have already been set, there will be a $50 minimum cancellation fee or 50 percent of the total cost of the order. whichever is greater. There are no cancellations allowed within 10 days of your hatch. By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you give up the rights of paypal and any credit cards that may be used (such as paypal's buyers protection or the equivelent of credit card company or banking institution). Most of these do not have any specific rules about live animals and we cannot be held to the same standards as tee-shirts or a hat. Most disputes arise because of shipping problems and we will not be held repsonsible for the quality of service that the USPS may or may not give to your package.
Pickup Rules: If you prefer to pick up your order from storefront, this is allowed. However, we have a few rules on this. First, pickup orders are the last to be filled, mail out orders go first. So pickup will be scheduled later in the week, usually Wednesday or later. You must have a open schedule so that when we call you to let you know your order is ready you can pick them up within 48 hours of notificaion. We do hold birds for Saturday or Sunday pickup but you must let us know in advance that is when you can pick them up. But you MUST show up then. If you do not, you will forfeit the chicks or you will be charged $1 per chick per day for brooding expense. These charges also apply after the 48 hour notification also. Picking up of orders from our farm should be considered a previlege, please do not abuse our rules. Sorry if this seems harsh, but we have had to play babysitter to chicks over weekends when someone never showed up for their chicks until the next week.
We the hatchery have the right to replace part of your order with alternate chicks if we come up a few short on your order we will not hold up an order for only being a couple short so please pick exceptible alternates for your order.
All hatch dates are approximate and may be changed at the hatchery's discretion.
- Shipping & Delivery
Please open your box of chicks at the postal office to confirm the condition of the chicks. We always ship extra chicks in each box, but if there is a high mortallity rate that happened in the shipping process, we need to know immediately and have it confirmed by the postal office.
